About the Role

• The purpose of the Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) Urology Outpatient Planned Care role is to provide clinical expertise and consultancy through advanced clinical leadership relevant to the speciality of Urology focusing on the portfolio of male sexual health and voiding dysfunction.
• The CNC is accountable at an advanced practice level for leading and coordinating the urology outpatient service to achieve best practice standards for clinical practice, patient centred care within a healthcare team.
• Accountable for Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and own standards, actions and the outcomes of own nursing practice, professional/clinical advice given and for all delegated activities.
• Collaborate with the Nurse Unit Manager, Nurse Educator, and other members of the health care team to develop, implement, translate, and evaluate clinical practice standard guidelines, policies, procedures and protocols using an evidence-based approach to clinical care and practice.
