EG182750 - District Nurse

NHS Grampian - More jobs by this advertiser

Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership is looking for forward-thinking and enthusiastic District Nurses (DNs).

We are looking to recruit DNs to our day community nursing teams, within Aberdeen City. I would encourage any Trainee District Nurses who expect to qualify in the next six months to apply. The successful applicant would be offered a conditional offer only until successful completion of course.    There are both full time and part time opportunities available within our city community nursing teams.

Please state clearly in your supporting statement what hours you are looking for and if there is a particular shift pattern from those described above or if you wish to be considered for a mixture of shifts.

Community experience is essential and candidates must possess a Specialist Practice District Nursing qualification.  However, we also welcome applications from nurses who have not been using their District Nurse qualification recently as we can provide full support for them to develop back into a District Nurse role.

This is a challenging and exciting role in which the successful candidate will take responsibility for managing a caseload while ensuring the delivery of high quality nursing care. As we work to shape the future of our localities and new pathways of working a willingness to contribute ideas and work in partnership to ensure the best possible delivery model for our communities is essential.

Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be committed to team working and ongoing professional development. Being a car driver/owner essential for this role.

For informal enquiries please contact Fiona Smith District Nurse Team Leader 07793937639or email [email protected]
