The Position:
Our client is looking for a passionate ICU Consultant to join their team to deliver specialist intensive care medical services within the hospital.
You will assist the Clinical director of Intensive Care Services to ensure clinical services are delivered to the highest standard

The Location:
The Fraser Coast, known for its diverse, natural landscapes, laid-back lifestyle and mild climate, is located just a quick 45-minute flight north of Brisbane. This destination with a difference is the stepping off point to the World Heritage-listed Fraser Island, the location of incredible whale watching encounters and has arguably the safest family-friendly beaches in Queensland. The Facility:
There are two facilities covering the main areas of population at which you will be based. The first is a modern, 137-bed facility providing acute services, including operating theatres, general surgery, day procedure unit, 24-hour emergency department, intensive and coronary care, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, midwifery, orthopaedic surgery, pathology, medical imaging, renal dialysis, cardiac rehabilitation, pharmacy, internal medicine, oncology services, endocrinology, specialist outpatients, population health and onsite breast screening. The second is an 88-bed facility providing sub-acute inpatient services to the region. It provides internal medicine; perioperative; accident and emergency, general surgery, a mental health unit, gynaecology, orthopaedic surgery, urology; pathology, medical imaging and pharmacy.

The Requirements

• Registered with AHPRA and have at least 12 months recent experience
• Hold the FCICM
• On CICM training program
• IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
• IMG's with CICM interview date
• IMG's assessed by CICM and found to be substantially comparable.
