In your new role you will…

• Demonstrate well-developed advanced level of general pharmaceutical clinical knowledge, expertise and skill.

About your opportunity:

In this position you will provide professional medication management leadership across the rural sites of the CHHHS in accordance with National and State policies and initiatives. To provide the Director of Pharmacy with high level strategic planning advice and direction for medicines management across all rural facilities of the CHHHS.

About your role:

• Provide independent high level clinical services of a complex and critical nature with significant scope to Atherton Hospital, Herberton Hospital and ten rural and remote primary health sites.
• This role provides operational management and clinical supervision to HP3 and HP4 level pharmacists, pharmacy assistants and students, including performance management within the Pharmacy Services – Atherton Hospital.
• Provide high level specialist advice of a rural generalist nature and direction to professional and operational supervisors, relevant service managers and other relevant stakeholders regarding professional standards, competence and clinical service development.
• Responsible for the day-to-day management and resource allocation of the Atherton Hospital Pharmacy Department, including performance appraisal and other general people management issues.
