The Executive Office Management Team at the Mackay Base Hospital are seeking applications for an Administration Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity

As an Administration Officer within the Office of Chief Executive (Executive Office) team your role will comprise:

  • Provide and maintain an efficient, effective, and confidential administrative and secretarial support service to the Executive Office team.
  • Work as part of a broader executive support team, supporting the daily functions of the Executive Office to ensure the smooth and efficient service delivery within the Office of the Chief Executive and the Executive Leadership Team within Mackay HHS.
  • Whilst reporting directly to the Executive Officer within the Executive Office, this position has direct/indirect relationships with:
    • All members of the Executive Leadership Team
    • Senior Leaders and support staff throughout the Mackay Hospital and Health Service
    • Senior Executive and support staff across Queensland Health
    • Office of the Minister for Health, Director-General's Office and other State Government and non-government organisations.
    • Other health system partners and providers
