Assumes responsibility for quality patient care, including timely throughput of patients and the performance of Nuclear Medicine exams. Functions as performing technologist and serves in advisory capacity to all staff, physicians and students. Performs the more advanced exams. Performs and ensures proper training in usage, proper utilization, and minor maintenance of a variety of Nuclear Medicine equipment, image processing and support equipment and the safe handling and documentation of radioactive materials.
