Band 5 post Rothieden Ward, Jubilee Hospital Huntly

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic staff nurse committed to providing safe and effective high quality nursing care to join our team at Rothieden Ward - Jubilee Hospital Huntly.

This post is considered to be part time and a variety of hours can be considered and discussed at interview stage. The post holder must be willing to work over a 7 day period, day and night rotation including public holidays.

If you are interested in joining the Rothieden team you must have an Active registered NMC pin.

Rothieden ward is a busy 20 bedded community hospital. We are a nurse lead GP acute unit/rehab with GP support from the Bydand Practice, providing care to the local community and surrounding areas. Roithieden ward has a dedicated palliative suite and a genuine interest in palliative care is essential for any applicants.

Rothieden ward takes admissions from the acute sectors and direct from home or the local MIU department. We have patients that come in for day case treatments including; blood transfusions, zometa transfusions and venesection etc.

The successful candidates will work closely with our established multidisciplinary team to provide a high standard of care for all our patients. The successful candidate will be actively encouraged to develop new skills and enhancing previous skills.

Rothieden ward is undergoing a refurbishment with a reopening date of June 2024. The reopening of a refurbished Rothieden ward is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidates to be part of and work alongside the existing team to return to the hospital to provide a high standard our care to our patients.
