Children's Health Queensland provides services from key locations in the Brisbane metropolitan area and works with the 15 other hospital and health services as well as NGOs and charity partners in Queensland to deliver an integrated network of healthcare services and support across the state.

Your Opportunity:

The purpose of the Area Screening Co-ordinator Healthy Hearing Program is to provide clinical expertise and consultancy through advanced clinical leadership relevant to the speciality of newborn hearing screening. The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) provides quality, evidence-based clinical supervision to public and private Queensland maternity providers in the delivery of the universal newborn hearing screening program; to assist in the early identification and diagnosis of babies born with permanent hearing loss in Queensland. The Area Screening Co-ordinator Healthy Hearing Program works in collaboration with Director, Healthy Hearing Program, the Healthy Hearing Area Screening Co-ordinators, the Healthy Hearing team, Hospital and Health Services and Private Hospitals to deliver safe quality healthcare through exemplary clinical nursing standards of practice for the specialty of newborn hearing screening.
