Aberdeen City Health & Social Care Partnership

We have an exciting opportunity for an NMC Registered Adult/Paediatric/Mental Health Nurse or Midwife to develop a career in Health Visiting within Aberdeen City. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who have the capacity and desire to undertake the post graduate MSc Advancing Practice Course – Health Visiting course full or part time route.

Throughout the duration of the course, you will be embedded within the existing Health Visiting Team in Aberdeen City who deliver the Universal Health Visiting Pathway. You will work alongside experienced health visitors and the wider team to support you to develop and consolidate your academic learning into practice.

Robert Gordon University offer a 1 year full time or 2 year part-time course which would commence in September 2024.

Whilst full or part time positions are available, it is a requirement of the course to complete 2 clinical placements to enable consolidation of academic and clinical learning as stipulated by NMC to ensure required clinical learning hours are achieved. Therefore, all annual leave must be taken out with the clinical practice placement times.
