About the role

The Business Support Assistant will provide the day to day support, coordination and delivery of the substantial education resources necessary for the provision of education to front line clinical staff across Queensland.

The key accountabilities of the role are to Support the provision of education across the state by:

  • managing bookings for Learning Centre resources e.g. meeting rooms, vehicles and equipment
  • distributing resources across Queensland within set timeframes and in consideration to the logistics protocol e.g. maximum weight parameters, packaging and postage guidelines
  • in consultation with the Program Delivery Coordinator, maintain oversight of the Learning Centre's training enrolments, checking learner USIs and basic reporting.
  • provide assistance to the Program Delivery Coordinator with the distribution or marketing materials and general training delivery requirements

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Demonstrated sound knowledge and experience in the area of education program work flows and how they impact upon the activities of stakeholders e.g. Hospital and Health Services.
  • Demonstrated advanced administration skills within a Registered Training Organisation environment including information technology and office software packages.
  • Demonstrated ability to work without supervision while providing efficient and effective service in an administrative setting, including ability to plan, organise and prioritise work to achieve work unit goals within a busy education environment.
  • Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills to enable effective interaction and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Registered Training Organisation accreditation requirements.
