Queensland Health - More jobs by this advertiser

The role
Reporting to the Executive Director Strategy and Commercial, you will be required to lead, manage and facilitate the development of investment co-ordination and commercial advisory functions to identify potential infrastructure option proposals, including private sector options.

You will work collaboratively with key stakeholders across Queensland Health, other Government agencies and potential commercial partners to lead the identification and development of these options. In doing this you will lead and manage a multidisciplinary team, including consultants to develop infrastructure option proposals, to support health's investment pipeline.

You will lead the development of strategic advice and support to the Executive Director, Strategy & Commercial, to ensure that potential infrastructure options appropriately consider key requirements of all stakeholders while risks are effectively managed, key milestones are achieved and outputs are in accordance with endorsed plans for time, quality, and cost in relation to proposal development.

The successful person
The successful candidate will exercise superior judgement and political astuteness in the provision of system-level strategic and operational advice. This includes representing and negotiating directly with senior government executives, commercial partners and industry representatives on behalf of Health Capital Division, providing specialised advice and knowledge to implement best practice approaches and strategies in relation to the development of infrastructure proposals to support the investment pipeline. You will need to maintain continuous relationships and engagement with key stakeholders both internal and external to Government.

The successful candidate will apply leadership, critical thinking and subject matter expertise in the resolution of complex organisational, policy, legislative and project issues and risks to ensure alignment to government objectives, mandates and leverage whole government opportunities to develop infrastructure option proposals for Health's pipeline.
