RN Cath Lab And IR ManagerPhoenix, AZFull-Time (Onsite) Day ShiftSign On BonusRelocation Assistance AvailableResponsibilities:Responsible for the oversight and management of the day-to-day operations of the department.Works with both staff and patients to promote a healthy and safe work environment.Enforces evidence-based policies, procedures, and standards of care.Supervises staff; assists in selection of personnel for hire; performance management and makes recommendations on discipline and termination.Responsible for executing strategic initiatives including but not limited to scheduling of cases, supplies, and equipment, case turnover, intra-departmental handoffs, or patient discharge process.Other related duties as assigned.SPECIAL SKILLS: Must be able to utilize independent decision-making skills in a wide variety of situations. Requires a high degree of accuracy in the performance of varied responsibilities. Computer skills are required.Must demonstrate strong process improvement, problem resolution, and effective communication skills allowing effective collaboration with physicians, other professional stakeholders, community individuals, and volunteers.Must haves:3 -5 years minimum RN experience in Special Procedures, Cardiac Cath Lab, or Interventional Radiology (Preferred)Minimum of 1-year progressive leadership experience (Preferred)Graduate of an accredited nursing program required(BSN preferred) RN - Current State of AZ Nurse license or an RN license from a compact state with multi-state privileges.BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association (AHA) required.Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required within 3 months of hire or transfer into a jobIDEAL CANDIDATE:Interested in growing a departmentThe RN manager will step in to do pre- and post.There are 2 rooms, one for Cath and IR.Min 1 year in progressive leadership in Special procedures. Great opportunity for a seasoned Cath Lab RN to move into a leadership role.
