An opportunity has become available for a Senior Medical Officer (General Practitioner with Special Interest - Gynaecology) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 10,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

About the role

Provide clinical specialist Gynaecology support to the Women's, Newborn and Children's service, making a substantial contribution to the development of a culture of medical education and safe, effective patient centered clinical practice.

This aspect of the role is supported by resources available both in the form of clinical care pathways and direct access to one of the gynaecological consultants.

This role will also participate in gynaecological clinics dealing with patients who present with a wide variety of gynaecological issues including Mirena insertion, Vulval disease and Menorrhagia.
