About you: 

You have demonstrated ability to provide effective leadership to and management of staff within a team environment, highly developed negotiation, consultation, and interpersonal skills and experience suited to influencing internal stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, external partners, and the local community. You have a proven record in the planning and successful implementation of projects varying in complexity and scope, and the application of LEAN Principles and leading effective change in a challenging, complex, and dynamic environment.

Your opportunity: 

The Business Improvement Manager Strategy, Planning and Infrastructure is primarily responsible for the successful initiation, planning, implementation and evaluation of operational projects and other activities for Strategy, Planning and Infrastructure.  This position also leads, directs, and manages systems and process improvements across Strategy, Planning and Infrastructure services to support effective and efficient operational and business services and to achieve CHHHS's strategic objectives.

Your role: 

  • Support the Executive Director Strategy, Planning and Infrastructure by:
  • Planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating strategic and operational projects and activities relating to Strategy, Planning and Infrastructure Services including but not limited to redesigning services; implementing new services; and systems and process improvements.
  • Managing the key risks, issues and blockages associated with such projects.
  • Assessing service and workforce performance outcomes using quantitative and qualitative data and identifying, proposing, and implementing solutions to improve performance.
  • Working collaboratively with the Directors of Strategy, Planning and Infrastructure and other stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and to develop, implement, support and drive initiatives and projects that enhance the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and effective health services.
  • Providing guidance and leadership to members of project teams and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, in Strategy, Planning and Infrastructure Services.
  • Establishing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure appropriate consultation and input to project results.
