Permanent full-time role, 76 hours per fortnight.

This role will join a team dedicated to improving life outcomes for children and domestic and family violence victim survivors within the North West HHS.

The Family Advocacy service located in Mount Isa is seeking a motivated individual who is experienced in administrative duties and is willing to contribute to formalising procedures and processes that will help direct the future of the service and to improve the quality of the office management.

Benefits:

  • base salary ranges between $88,187 and $97,156 p.a. (AO4).
  • 4 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer super contribution
  • long service and sick leave accrual

Child Protection Unit, Family Advocacy Unit, North West Hospital and Health Service, Mount Isa, Queensland.

Role requirements

  • Experience in a healthcare environment would be highly regarded.
  • Experience in computerised information systems and applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Communicare, HBCIS and UNIFY (Child Safety database) would be highly regarded.
  • Possession of advanced computer skills.
  • Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant.
  • VPD risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
  • A 6-month period of probation may apply.
