The Clinical Nurse demonstrates clinical leadership and management qualities in the provision of quality, cost effective, patient/client/resident centred nursing care in consultation with other members of the health care team and in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia's National competency standards for the registered nurse.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Demonstrate knowledge of relevant legislation including Health and Hospitals Network Act, Workplace Health and Safety Act, and Equal Employment Opportunity Legislation, Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission and other relevant legislation.
• Demonstrates understanding and knowledge of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Culture.
• Ability to provide high level of nursing and clinical leadership across the multi-disciplinary team that reflects the highest possible standards of relevant legislation and contemporary models of practice which includes quality improvement, nursing research and professional development.
