The role:
This successful candidate will be required to assist in the ongoing development, maintenance and deployment of application specific guides, work instructions and technical documents.
In addition to this you will be responsible for:
- Provide effective change management, capacity planning, incident management, risk management and continuity planning utilising best practices in systems support and service delivery, within the ITIL framework
- Ensure end to end service delivery for enterprise systems within Queensland Health by establishing and maintaining highly effective working relationships with other technical specialists, application specialists, vendors and end users
- Provide timely application support activity reports to stakeholders
Are you right for this role?
- Previous experience in a Programmer/Developer role, with a focus on any of the following: .NET Framework C#, CI/CD, REST APIs, SQL (MS Synapse preferred), PowerBI Desktop/Report Builder, CCL (Cerner Command Language), or JavaScript
- Demonstrated ability in developing and promoting ITIL Service Management processes primarily incident / problem / test / change and configuration management (SFIA: USUP Level 4, PBMG Level 4, CHMG Level 4, CFMG Level 3, TEST Level 3)
- Demonstrated ability in the provision of high-level specialist advice on, and support for, clinical enterprise applications (SFIA: TECH Level 5)
- Demonstrated ability to ensure that service delivery meets agreed service levels in a customer focused ICT / Clinical Business environment (SFIA: SLMO Level 4)
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people to make decisions (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing)
- Well-developed ability to build and maintain appropriate relationships with team members, other technical specialists, application specialists, vendors and end users (NHS: Collaborative Working)
- Previous experience working with one of the below systems is preferred:
ieMR – Medications management
ieMR – ESM (scheduling management)
ieMR – CareDelivery
ieMR – Technical - Interfaces / Medical device integration
ieMR – Reporting
