Job Title: Physiotherapy Lead – Acute Services

Salary Band: 8aHours:           37 hours per week plus on callDuration:      Permanent

This is an excellent opportunity to work in the Division of Clinical Support Services, Acute Allied Health Professional Team. We are seeking to employ a dynamic clinical leader (HCPC registered) to drive forward the Acute Physiotherapist service. 

The role is based predominantly in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, covering acute medical, surgical, unscheduled care and cancer services pathways.

Providing leadership and operational delivery, the Lead Physiotherapist is accountable to the AHP Sector Lead, and will hold professional accountability for the Acute Physiotherapy service supporting the delivery of safe and high quality person centred care.   

The post holder will take overall responsibility for governance and performance processes relating to the Acute Physiotherapy service, working in collaboration with Uni-professional Leads in the Acute Sector and, across the wider Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Moray Health and Social Care Partnerships.

The post holder will be required to undertake Hospital Duty Manager on call, evenings and weekends.

An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidatesThe closing date is 24th April 2024 with interviews for this post planned for w/c 5th May 2024
