Head Nurse

Head veterinary nurse position, full time. Small, friendly 3 vet clinic on the northside of Brisbane.

As our head nurse, your role will extend beyond clinical duties. You will play a pivotal role in supporting our nursing team to contribute to the overall success of the clinic and ensure the smooth day to day operation.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Certificate IV or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years nursing experience.
  • Availability to work 35 to 38 hours per week between 8am and 6pm, and 1 weekend in 4.
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to have difficult conversations.
  • A focus on continued growth.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a high level of emotional maturity.
  • A team mentality and positive attitude.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Ezyvet and IDEXX Machines is highly desirable.
