$126,411 - $132,325 per annum + 11% super

At Millbrook Rise Centre for Rehabilitation we aim to provide a safe and positive place to support you in the journey from diagnosis through to recovery. We have an emphasis on education, skill development and rehabilitation to assist you to transition back to more independent living.

The Nurse Unit Manager:

  • Provides leadership to the Millbrook Rise Centre and Tolosa Street.
  • Ensures the efficient and effective provision of care, based on clinical standards and best practice principles within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework by coordinating the clinical, management, education, and nursing research functions within the services.
  • Leads and manages the coordination of overall client care and is responsible for managing the allocated human, material, and financial resources for service delivery within the services.
  • Manages the financial, physical and human resources of the services to achieve agreed service outcomes within the allocated budget.

Details of Appointment

Permanent full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. 

*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary:  $126,411 - $132,325 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023

Location: Glenorchy & New Norfolk 

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse

Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. It is the employee’s responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change. This includes notifying the Employer if a registration/licence is revoked, cancelled or has its conditions altered.
