Your opportunity:

  • Provide intentional Peer Support and model self defined recovery strategies that support the assessment, intervention and referral of consumers admitted to an acute adult inpatient ward.
  • Provide consumers with education, information, referrals and support from personal experience of recovery and of utilising mental health services and non-government agencies within an inpatient setting.

Under 25s of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), it is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to have a personal lived experience of mental illness and recovery and/or caring for someone with a lived experience of mental illness and recovery.

Several Permanent Full Time (76 hours p.f.) and Permanent Part Time Positions (hours negotiable)

Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases ( https://tinyurl.com/yc6pgyt2 )(VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $94,810 p.a. comprising salary rates $74,722 - $83,097 p.a. (f/t) or salary rates $37.69 - $41.91 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO3) (Several Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f. and Permanent Part Time Positions, hours negotiable).
