About the Role

• Provide ethical decision-making in the achievement of organisational goals.
• Interpret plans, associated drawings and specifications, and adapt industry-approved practices to all tasks undertaken.
• Exercise high precision trade skills using various materials and/or specialist techniques.
• Install, repair, maintain, test, modify, commission and/or fault find on complex machinery and equipment which utilises hydraulic and/or pneumatic principles and, in the course of such work, read and understand hydraulic and pneumatic circuitry which involves examining, diagnosing and modifying systems comprising inter-connected circuits.
• Liaise with staff from all levels of the facility including contractors to ensure that work is undertaken with the minimal disruption to staff and patients.
• Ensure that statutory and legislative requirements are met.
