The role:
You will be required to manage business change activities for the IT Financial Management Replacement Project, benefits realisation, communications, stakeholder engagement and training.
 
Other key responsibilities include:
  • Manage, identify, develop and plan business change management deliverables and resources required to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of the IT Financial Management Replacement Project to meet business needs.
  • Ensure strategic alignment to the realisation of business benefits by establishing baseline measures and metrics that are able to be monitored throughout the project lifecycle and post implementation.
  • Initiate, influence and maintain effective relationships with and between key internal and external stakeholders including suppliers to proactively manage needs, expectations, mitigate risks to meet service levels, and support change according to agreed SLAs.
  • Encourage strong and supportive ownership, leadership and sponsorship through the use of effective communication channels to promote the successful adoption of the IT Financial Management Solution and other business changes.
  • Assist the Project team by undertaking any activities required to ensure that the implementation of a new IT Financial Management solution remains within scope and on-time in accordance with implementation plans.
Are you right for this role?
 
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate experience in the development, documentation, implementation and evaluation of business change in ICT program/project(s) within a healthcare environment, using appropriate industry standards and techniques within a healthcare environment. 
  • Proven stakeholder relationship management skills to support effective business change, including the ability to influence key stakeholders within a healthcare environment. (SFIA Skill: RLMT: Level 5)
  • Proven experience in leading, managing and mentoring an effective multi-disciplinary team. (NHS: Leading change through people) Proven high level negotiation, consultation, facilitation and effective written and oral communication skills for use in a complex program/project environment. (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing)
  • Proven analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills and a proven ability to work in a team environment developing effective working relationships with team members. (NHS: Collaborative working).

Specific Working Conditions:

  • A practitioner level qualification in Organisational Change Management would be well regarded.
  • Working and traveling to different locations within Queensland may be a requirement for this role.
