Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south to Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include: 

  • Provide leadership and direction for workforce planning and capability strategies for a multi-disciplinary team of Nurses and Allied Health Practitioners to achieve alignment, enhancement and efficiency in the delivery of quality patient care and service. Represent and advocate for Allied Health at a facility/service level.
  • Provide managerial leadership in collaboration work cooperatively within a multidisciplinary team, particularly in collaboration with Discipline Directors, Allied Health Managers and Team Leaders / Operational Managers across the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.
  • Collaborate with senior management to ensure effective cooperation within and across work unit/s to enhance service delivery, quality outcomes and/or patient services.
  • Advise senior management and other relevant stakeholders on service needs and initiatives to improve service organisation, operation and quality for Transition Care and CSRT.

Remuneration value up to $13 965.66 p.m., comprising salary between $5395.60 - $5413.50 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP5) (temporary position available for six months).
