The role 
Reporting to the Manager, the successful candidate will support the installation and configuration of software, hardware and/or equipment, and test specific versions of one or more of these products.

Are you right for this role?
The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Demonstrated ability or the ability to quickly learn eHealth Queensland's ITIL Service Management processes, primarily incident / problem / change / configuration management.
  • High level understanding and technical skills in one or more of the following:
    • Windows 10, Windows 11
    • Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
    • Directory Services (Microsoft Active Directory and Novell eDirectory)
    • Active Directory Group Policy administration and configuration
    • Application packaging (MSI, application virtualisation, scripting technologies)
    • Enterprise printing solutions (Novell iPrint)
  • Demonstrated high level technical expertise evidenced by the ability to provide professional support, advice and solutions.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people to make decisions.
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment, developing effective working relationships with team members and stakeholders.

Specific Working Conditions:

  • While not mandatory, relevant qualifications would be well regarded:
    • Microsoft Certification IT Professional
    • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) V3 Foundation
    • Microsoft Operations Framework 4.0 Foundation
    • Degree in IT or related field
  • Participating in on-call arrangements may be a requirement of this position.  Appropriate remuneration under the Award will apply.
  • This position may be required to work at different sites.
