About the role

  • Deliver Physiotherapy clinical services including professional knowledge and clinical skills for patients presenting with a range of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions to optimise their health outcomes.
  • Provide high level clinical advice to professional and operational supervisors, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding service delivery.
  • Independently monitor and report on clinical practices and outcomes within the service area and actively participate in initiating, developing and implementing quality and service improvement activities that enhance the delivery of physiotherapy led services for patients with musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of research and quality improvement activities within the work unit, physiotherapy department and wider multidisciplinary team.

  • Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification (at least a tertiary degree, or equivalent qualification in Physiotherapy) and registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager prior to the commencement of clinical duties
