The role:  
The ideal candidate will have high attention to detail and be driven by a desire to improve healthcare outcomes, you will be able to use exceptional analytical skills to work collaboratively within a fast-paced team while providing high level advice and guidance on the application of appropriate project management methodologies (preferably PRINCE2) to multiple large ICT Programs within eHealth Queensland. 

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and reporting on performance against agreed specialised work packages, schedules and budgets.
  • Facilitating effective communication and fostering relationships through lessons learned, feedback mechanisms and management of expectations.
  • Writing governance correspondence and briefs.
  • Preparing program level presentations, workshops and feedback sessions.

Are you right for this role?
This role requires significant experience in the provision of support to large scale, complex IM/ICT programs and projects; specifically, in the themes of planning, initiation, stakeholder management and communication, reporting, budgeting, financial and risk management, and project closure.

Your well-developed analytical skills, negotiation and communication skills and eye for detail will enable you to effectively negotiate and liaise with both internal and external stakeholders regarding the application of the project delivery framework, supporting tools and templates to foster the consistent application of practices that lead to successful delivery.

You will have high level knowledge and application of appropriate project and program management methodologies (preferably PRINCE2 and MSP), and an ability to provide expert advice on the use of appropriate project and program management techniques, methodologies and tools.
