An exciting opportunity exists for the Allied Health Assistant Team Leader to complete work force planning and operationally manage the Clinical Assistant (CA) workforce across the SCHHS. This role will also contribute to the strategic development and professional governance of the CA workforce.

Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south to Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include: 

• Manage and coordinate staff allocations and rosters (including leave relief) across the various teams including the allocation of resources and Human Resource management
• Support Director to maintain financial management of designated CA position IDs.
• Support evaluation of service needs, caseload divisions whilst evaluating and ensuring the work life balance of the CA workforce is considered.
• Identify when recruitment is required, options available and support these processes to be efficient and timely.

Remuneration value up to $101 127 p.a., comprising salary between $83 520 - $88 633 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (CA5).
