The Medical Imaging Service provides a comprehensive Medical Imaging, Nuclear Medicine and Interventional Radiology service. This position will deliver competent base-level Medical Imaging Services, actively contributing to the multidisciplinary team through clinical service delivery and other activities as detailed below. This position will work across a variety of areas and rosters within the Medical Imaging Service - which is operational 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop clinical practice knowledge and expertise through active learning within the Medical Imaging Service and the multi-disciplinary team, as well as engaging in professional development activities to ensure maintenance of relevant registration and /or professional membership.
  • Ensure that all standards of radiation hygiene are adhered to at all times, and that relevant legislation and standards relating to Radiation Health are maintained.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and patient records in line with Departmental, Unit and Health Service procedures, and contribute to the maintenance of accurate and timely information systems (statistics collection, quality data).

Remuneration value up to $128 706 p.a., comprising salary between $74 747 - $112 805 p.a. (f/t), or salary rates: $38.70 - $56.89 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (full time or part time position available). Applications will remain current for 12 months.
