The successful candidate will coordinate and participate in all stock related tasks and issues such as, stock taking, ordering and distribution, stock locations, quarantine, packaging, maintaining consumable replenishment (including the reporting of damaged incoming deliveries and the rectification of same).

Key competencies/suitability (role specific criteria and personal qualities)

You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to supervise and lead a small team, supporting the training and development of other team members to coordinate workflows.
  • Ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of policies, procedures and functions relating to warehousing, asset management, financial and procurement compliance related processes and reporting using associated information management system tools and databases.
  • High level organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage competing demands and deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
  • Capacity to provide a high level of client service, including the ability to manage customer feedback and resolve issues in a professional manner.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms.

Qualifications, registrations and other requirements

  • Whilst not mandatory, knowledge of and experience in S4Hana or similar financial/stock management program would be highly regarded.
  • It may be a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against one or more of the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment (Health Employment Directive No. 01/16(PDF) ( https://www.health.qld.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0009/150120/hed-0116.pdf )): measles, mumps, rubella (MMR),varicella (chicken pox),pertussis (whooping cough),hepatitis B, tuberculosis
