About us:

The Strategy, Transformation and Allied Health Division (STAH) leads and supports Central Queensland (CQ) Health to achieve the priorities set out by the Health Minister, Department of Health and Destination 2030: Great Care for Central Queenslanders. The three portfolios are Allied Health Professional leadership; Strategy and Planning; and Transformation and Service Improvement. Team members will lead, influence and collaborate across and within CQ Health clinical and corporate teams to support the delivery of outcomes aspired through our strategic intent Destination 2030: Great Care for Central Queenslanders

About the role:

In this role you will work closely with Director of Service Transformation and the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS) Care Network Leads to support the successful delivery of key initiatives across CQHHS in alignment with the CQHHS Clinical Services Plan through use of service improvement methodologies.

About you:

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • While not mandatory, a relevant qualification or extensive experience in project, program or change management would be well regarded.
  • Knowledge of Quality Improvement, Clinical Redesign, or Lean improvement methodology is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and the application of project management principles and techniques.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to consult and communicate with staff at all levels and the ability to negotiate with or influence others including advising/coaching Senior Managers.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a strong team player, dedicated to the success of the team, including flexibility and agility, with a strong desire to learn and transfer knowledge.

What we offer:

Salary information:

Total remuneration value of up to $127, 235 p.a. is comprised of:

  • A hourly rate between $51.69 - $56.24 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
