The Position Join an exceptional team for a two-year advanced training program in Geriatric Medicine. Gain experience in various areas such as inpatient and outpatient geriatric medicine, orthogeriatric medicine, and community geriatric medicine. You will manage patient care under the guidance of Registrars, Consultants, Nurses, and Allied Health professionals, ensuring high standards of care. Additionally, you will participate in quality improvement, education activities, and the department's CME, research, and teaching program. The Requirements
Registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) as a Medical Practitioner.
Bachelor of Medicine or equivalent
Appropriate post-graduate experience
Have proven skills in problem-solving and decision-making at both the clinical and the individual levels.
Able to work under pressure without compromising patient care
Possess high-level skills in negotiation and communication
Function effectively within a fast-paced environment
