About your role:

• Implement and monitor the organisation's quality standards, work health and safety policies, procedures and programs and provide clinical governance in the relevant work area.
• Effectively manage self-development and work with the Team Leader/Nurse Unit Manager/Clinical Nurse Educator to meet unit nursing staff development needs.
• Provide support and leadership in the provision of Diabetes Education and care in line with evidence based practice, Chronic Disease Strategy, Australian Diabetes in Pregnancy, Australian Diabetes Society and Australian Diabetes Educators Association Standards.
