The role 
Reporting to the Manager, you will provide expert technical and business advice to ensure that information systems development will support the provision of mental health and alcohol and other drugs services across Queensland. Additionally, you will provide effective change management, capacity planning, risk management and continuity planning utilising best practices in systems support and service delivery, with the ITIL framework.

This is a fixed term temporary full-time opportunity up to 30 September 2024.

The successful person

To be successful for this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and promote ITIL Service Management processes primarily incident / problem / change / release management. (SFIA: USUP Level 4, PBMG Level 5, CHMG Level 5, RELM Level 5)
  • Demonstrated expert level skills and experience in managing clinical applications and its integration with business requirements and technical environment in a large and complex service delivery environment. (SFIA: TECH Levels 6).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage diverse activities and priorities across organisational boundaries to ensure that service delivery. meets agreed service levels in a customer focused ICT environment. Experience in negotiating and managing service level agreements with emphasis on a strong customer focus. (SFIA: SLMO Level 5)
  • Well-developed interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others, and work collaboratively with people including senior business and technical stakeholders to make decisions. (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing)
  • Proven ability to lead, manage and mentor a team of technical specialists. (NHS: Leading change through people)
  • Well-developed ability to build and maintain appropriate relationships with team members, other technical specialists, application specialists, vendors, and end users (NHS: Collaborative Working)
  • Ability to lead complex technical projects, offer technical support and advice to consumers.
