Our client, a prominent allied health group, services Northern NSW and Southern QLD with a multidisciplinary team of over 70 professionals, including Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, and Exercise Physiologists. The group's commitment to quality care and comprehensive services has established them as a leader in the healthcare sector.
The role can be based from any of the company's clinics across Northern NSW and Southern QLD with WFH options. Occasional travel will be expected between clinics. 
About the Position:
The Team Leader Occupational Therapist role is central to the strategic growth and clinical excellence of our client’s services. This role involves:
  • Spearheading business development to enhance referral numbers and client base in the Community Aged Care and NDIS sectors.
  • Playing a key role in the recruitment process, including interviewing and selecting prospective team members
  • Providing leadership and training to new and existing OT team members
  • Managing commercial performance in line with set KPIs and enhancing the clinical development of the OT team
  • Participating in quarterly leadership and planning meetings
  • Optional: Maintaining a clinical caseload in your area of expertise (subject to discussion)

Key Requirements:
  • A degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the relevant board.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience, with a preference for backgrounds in community Aged Care, NDIS, and/or Paediatrics.
  • Strong leadership and business development skills
