Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our orthopaedic surgery practice. The Office Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the clinic, maintaining high standards of patient care, and supporting the orthopaedic surgeon in delivering outstanding services.
Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice, including patient scheduling, appointment management, and clinic workflow.
Ensure efficient use of resources, such as staff, equipment, and facilities, to optimise patient care delivery.
Implement and enforce policies and procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and enhance operational efficiency.
Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Coordinate patient appointments, consultations, and follow-up care to ensure seamless experiences and continuity of care.
Monitor patient satisfaction metrics and implement strategies to enhance patient experience and loyalty.
Oversee billing, coding, and insurance-related activities to optimise reimbursement and minimise denials.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Implement quality assurance programs and clinical protocols to uphold clinical excellence and patient safety.
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications:
Experience in healthcare management, preferably in an orthopaedic or surgical practice setting.
Excellent command of English
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage patients, resources, and budgets effectively.
Proficiency in healthcare operations, and billing
Knowledge of orthopaedic surgery terminology and procedures is desirable but not required.
