About the role
The Nurse Unit Manager is responsible for the daily operational management, staffing and recruitment, profitability, staff education and control of all activities carried out by surgical staff ensuring adherence to the policies, business plans, objectives and budgets approved by the Executive Team. As the leader of the nursing unit/team, the Nurse Unit Manager will demonstrate their capability through their attitude, skills, behaviour and attributes which include broad nursing experience and knowledge.
Calvary Bruce Private Hospital undertakes planned (elective) and non elective surgical procedures. Calvary Bruce Private’s Surgical Ward has 35 Bed ward with overnight surgical admission including General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Neurosurgery, Gynaecology, Dental, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedic Surgery
