About the Role:

SALHN has the requirement for experienced Associate Nurse Unit Managers (ANUM) to join the team in Ward 5A. The ward consist of 26 general ward beds that may assist with patients transitioning from the Emergency Department to the other respective wards or for general ward care.  This role will include providing n ursing services in a variety of health service settings which has been consolidated by experience and/or further study with staff at this level developing from competent to proficient practitioners. Provide support to the Nurse Unit Manager or equivalent in the leadership of nurses/midwives in the ward/unit/service.

About you: 

• Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
• Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
• Effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
