has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Consultant Palliative Care to join our team in Western QLD.Join us in building better health in the bush!The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) is accountable at an advanced practice level for the provision of specialised palliative care knowledge and advanced clinical practices to a cohort of palliative patients within the rural/remote context of the South West Hospital and Health Service (SWHHS).The purpose of this role is to provide clinical expertise and consultancy through advanced clinical leadership relevant to the specialties of Palliative Care and Aged Care. The CNC provides direct and indirect care as required and works in collaboration with the Specialist Palliative Care Team, RACF and MPHS Teams with the Needs Rounds program and the wider SWHHS care team to provide safe quality palliative care through exemplary clinical nursing standards of practice. The position can be based in Roma or Charleville and will require outreach visits to SWHHS facilities.The very nature of what we do and who we are is the real opportunity.
