Travel Hire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Hospitalist Physician to join our team in Utica, NY. This is a full-time position.As a Pediatric Hospitalist Physician, you will provide specialized care to pediatric patients admitted to the hospital. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive and coordinated care to patients, including newborns, infants, children, and adolescents.Responsibilities:- Conduct initial evaluations and ongoing assessments of pediatric patients- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the patient's primary care physician and other specialists- Perform procedures such as intubation, lumbar punctures, and chest tube placements- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their medical conditions and treatment plans- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for patients- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to promote continuity of care- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to evidence-based practices- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic medical recordsRequirements:- Medical degree from an accredited medical school- Board certification in Pediatrics- Valid medical license in the state of New York- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pediatric Hospitalist- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends- BLS and PALS certificationWe offer competitive compensation and benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
