The Opportunity

We are on the lookout for a safety professional with a background in construction or mining for a site-based role in Queensland, with further ongoing projects throughout Australia.

You will be working on a 20:10 FIFO roster.

What you will be doing

• Provide HSE advice and support to the project team.
• Conduct HSE audits, inspections, and investigations.
• Manage subcontractor WHS evaluations and compliance to all safety systems/documentation/site safety compliance.
• Train and mentor staff members in safety and compliance.
• Monitor the health and well-being of all workers whilst on site.
   

About You

• Experience in a site-based HSEQ or similar role.
• Certificate IV in OHS or WHS, additional certificates such as a certificate IV in Training and Assessment are desirable.
• Solid written and verbal communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the desire to work collaboratively and build meaningful relationships at work.
