Barwon MHDAS provides integrated and recovery oriented mental health, drugs and alcohol assessment, treatment and community support to people of all ages within the Barwon region experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, mental health and drug & alcohol issues, and their families.

About Mental Health Hospital in the Home (MHHITH)
A new initiative coming out of the Royal Commission, the Barwon MHHITH is one of a limited number of HITH programs being established and evaluated across the state of Victoria. The service provides timely and effective, intensive treatment and support for individuals aged 16 years and older with high acuity mental health and / or AOD needs, in their home environment. The service provides 9 adult and youth acute mental health bed-equivalent packages of care and operates 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week.
Lead the clinical team in providing evidence based care and assisting with the development of all clinical team members.
Function autonomously and collaboratively in an advanced and extended clinical role, providing innovative and flexible health solutions. You will have specific clinical responsibilities in relation to consumer admissions to MHHITH. You will have the opportunity to influence and progress evidence based clinical practises and procedures.
These roles will be rostered to cover the MHHITH program 7 days per week between the hours of 07.00 – 21.30hrs, focusing on evenings and weekend shifts to enhance clinical leadership outside of business hours.
