Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south to Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include: 

• Demonstrate competent knowledge, expertise and skill in the provision of Speech Pathology services commensurate with level of experience in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, existing evidence-based practice and established clinical protocols.
• Apply clinical judgement to more complex clinical decision making under the clinical practice supervision or professional guidance of a more senior clinician.
• Participate in quality and service improvement activities to continually improve patient/client care, including the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols within the work environment.
• Develop clinical practice knowledge and expertise through active learning within the Speech Pathology Service and the multi-disciplinary team, as well as engaging in professional development activities to ensure maintenance of relevant registration and /or professional membership.

Remuneration based pro rata on equivalent full time value up to $128 706 p.a., comprising salary rates: $38.70 - $56.89 p.h.employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (fixed term temporary part time position available for six months, 45.6 hrs p.f.).
