Environmental Services Assistant- Monash Medical Centre Clayton 

Join our team as an Environmental Services Assistant  on a part time fixed term basis, Wednesday to Saturday (8 hour shift) working at Monash Medical Centre Clayton, Emergency Department.

• Part Time fixed term Position to November 29 2024
• Wednesday to Saturday night shift 22.30 – 7.00hrs (8 hour shift)
• Monash Medical Centre Clayton

About the Role 

Join our team as an Environmental Services Assistant on a part time fixed term basis covering a parental leave position, working Wednesday to Saturday night shift at Monash Medical Centre Clayton in the Emergency Department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning of floors surfaces
• Waste segregation and removal.
• Cleaning of amenities
• Cleaning Cubicles

About Us 

Our Support Services team provides a range of essential non-clinical services that help our hospitals run. We provide food services, central production kitchen, patient support, porters, cleaning, linen, pest control, waste management, car parking, hygiene services and some retail services.

• A commitment to delivering excellent customer service
• Holds a strong commitment to working effectively as part of a team
• Takes pride in your work with great attention to detail
• Has great time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks
• Must be available to work the fixed term contact hours and commit to the contract dates.

Mandatory requirements of the role - qualifications, licences, memberships: 

• Able to undertake physical work including lifting, carrying and manual handling
• A high standard of demonstrated experience in customer service and cleaning in a healthcare environment.
• Ability to work with a cohesive team or individually to complete daily tasks
• Excellent understanding of infection control procedures
• Basic to intermediate computer/digital skills
