At MOIRA, we are a mobile allied health service, currently delivering occupational therapy services within a person's everyday environment to help them meet their goals.

We are ready to launch our brand-new Speech Pathology service , and we are looking for an experienced therapist to join our growing team and lead our speech pathology department.

Every day is different, but your role will include:

  • Managing and delivering high-quality and evidence-informed services to a core caseload of clients within home, clinic, community, and school-based environments.
  • Providing clinical and organisational supervision and support to a team of speech pathologists, including new graduates.
  • Actively contributing to the development of professional knowledge, skills and practice of team members to deliver positive client health outcomes

  • Working with the Allied Health leadership team to identify and implement improvements to existing operating systems and service models with the aim of meeting the current and future needs of clients 
  • Monitoring professional and market trends with a view to improve service and service outcomes 
  • Working with team members to optimise work practices, with a strong focus on workload over caseload and realistic KPIs including documentation time. 
  • Working with our leadership team to create an environment that drives exceptional service delivery that focuses on TRUE people outcomes. We encourage our team members to continually innovate and shape service delivery with the sole intention to improve our clients' lives, improve the clients' overall experience of therapy, and provide high-quality speech pathology services without unnecessary constraints. As an Allied Health leader, you are key to facilitating this vision.


What will you bring?
We are always growing, learning, and adapting so you will be a life-long learner with a drive to see high-impact outcomes in people's lives. You will also have:

  • Qualifications in Speech Pathology
  • Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist (CPSP) registered with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
  • Current Australian Driver's License.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of clinical theory and practice.
  • Demonstrated clear understanding of person-centred care.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • NDIS experience is desirable
  • Leadership experience in an Allied Health setting is highly desirable but not mandatory
