The Hospital:
The hospital has recently enjoyed a major $408 Million overhaul and expansion doubling the number of beds to over 300 and increasing the size by 40,000m2 including a new Emergency Department. This is now a state of the art fully modern hospital and one of Australia’s largest regional healthcare facilities.
The hospital is also accredited for training with a number of the colleges and provides the following specialist services to the local community: ED, O&G, Paeds, Orthopaedics, Anaesthetics, ICU, Coronary care, Psychiatry, Aged Care, Renal Medicine, ENT, Ophthalmology, Palliative Care and Day Surgery.

The Role:
You will be available to assist the Director in the provision of high quality clinical services and also involved in education of medical staff and students, allied health professionals and interested community groups or nursing staff.

You will provide clinical management to patients in a collaborative manner with the broader healthcare team to deliver compassionate person-centered care.

Flexible full-time position on a fixed term 12 month contract with possibility of extension.

The Requirements:
FACEM or an equivalent qualification assessed by the ACEM as substantially comparable.
AHPRA Registration or able to acquire.
