The Location: The hospital is located on an idyllic part of the Queensland coast. With over 300 days of sunshine each year there is an abundance of outdoor activities. Popular attractions include Riverbank Parklands, a riverfront parkland attraction, the coastal strip and large neighbouring islands, the vast majority of which is national park.
The Facility: With a local population of around 100,000 and drainage population of almost double this is a busy facility. This is 260 bed major regional hospital. Having state of the art facilities the hospital has been undergoing a number of redevelopment projects at a cost of $324 million the last of which are due to be completed later this year.
The Position: Assist the Director, Staff Specialists and Senior Medical Staff to ensure that Obstetrics and Gynaecology services provided.
Total remuneration value of $169,083 p.a.
Your Profile: Ideally the hospital are looking for either an SRMO or Registrar with at least 6 months Australian or UK experience at Registrar level or someone who has been assessed as ‘partially comparable’ about the college.
