In your new role you will…

  • Display competence in the coordination of Intensive Care clinical trials and effective coordination of the research team at an advanced level.

About your opportunity:

In this position you will undertake the role of clinical research coordinator, where required, to support conducting clinical trials implemented under the ATM delivering clinical trials to regional, rural and remote patients in Modified Monash Model.

About your role:

  • Provide effective and efficient clinical care in the area of clinical research and work in collaboration with the Clinical Nurse Consultant – Clinical Research Unit and Principal Investigators to ensure the maintenance of safe standards in patient care.
  • Provide leadership to effectively plan, manage and evaluate patient care activities at an advanced practitioner level within the specified clinical setting.
  • Effectively communicate at all levels across the organisation to promote effective team functioning including communication with Ethics Committees, Sponsors and consortium.
  • Apply contemporary human resource management principles to ensure that the unit working environment meets legislative standards and Queensland Health policy.
