About the role

Anglicare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Porter Lodge in Minto. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our residents in a residential aged care facility. Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering person-centered care and support to residents in accordance with their individual care plans
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitoring and documenting residents' health status and responding promptly to any changes or concerns
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the holistic well-being of residents
• Providing guidance and support to care staff

Requirements for the role:

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
• Previous experience in aged care or a similar setting is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
