Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Step down / Cardiac Post CTICU – 2 Core

Shift:Nights / 7p-7:30a (12×3) 36 hours per week, EOW(Fri/Sat)

Length:8-13 Weeks

Requirements:

• NJ License
  
• 1+ Years of experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

• First time travelers are accepted
• Will float within skillset when not needed in home unit
• Charting System: EPIC
• COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
• Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Unknown
• Local Rules: Accepted

Every other weekend (Fri/Sat)…

1+ Years of experience…

Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS…

Patient Mix: Post open heart, 28 bed IMC, status post CABG, post-op mini valve and TAVRs, mitral clips, insulin drips, external pacing, vascular patients, chest tubes, A-lines, no vents….

IMC: continuous pulse ox, hi-flow NC, insulin gtt, q 2 hour vitals, q 2 hour neuro checks or q 2 hour vascular checks or q 1-2 hr blood sugar checks, a-lines, epicardial pacing…

Pre/post cardiac surgery, TAVR, insulin drips, temporary pacemaker, chest tubes, Vascular cases, and A-line, external pacemaker, Surgical nurses, Dressing changes, wound vac…
